Wineries, cafes and restaurants are all within a 15 minute drive, 25 mins to Borwal and 30 mins to historical Berrima.  Mali Brae wedding venue is within 2.5km of Twin Oaks Cottage.

Twin Oaks Cottage is accommodation in a rural setting ideally suited for families.  If you want to experience animals you're welcome to watch the lambs, fetch the eggs and feed the chickens,  stroll through the paddocks or go for a family bike ride into the national park along fire trails.  The tennis court faces into the paddock for a great afternoon match.  For the children, there is a cubby house, slide, hammock and swings.

The main bedroom off the living room has a queen bed.  The second bedroom comprises a double bunk,  and a queen bed.  Each room has fresh linen and electric blankets.  Hot water bottles are also supplied.  The bathroom has a shower only and a separate toilet.

The cottage has a laundry with washing machine, dryer and iron.  The cottage can be serviced for extended stays.   Twin Oaks Cottage is non smoking and pets are allowed with prior consent. 


Situated at Fitzroy Falls in the Southern Highlands, a 2 hour drive from Sydney and 1.5 hours from Canberra, is Twin Oaks.  The original home of Twin Oaks in the early 1900's, the Cottage is fully self contained with two-bedrooms and 1-bathroom.  The living room is north facing and warm all year round. 
The adjoining balcony faces over the paddocks, perfect for watching the sun rise or enjoying the golden hues of the setting sun.  The fully self contained kitchen has a dining table seating 8.  There's a fridge, freezer and microwave. Entertainment in the cottage includes a TV, DVD player & movies and bluetooth speakers for your music entertainment.  The cottage is fully heated.


For lovers of nature, go for a bushwalk out to Fitzroy Falls, ride your mountain bike or four wheel drive along the fire trails through the picturesque Meryla State Forest to explore waterfalls big and small or find the grotto.  Turn left out of the gate and you're on your way.
